Santoro Caniglia is a boutique interior design and wellness studio in Astoria, New York, founded by Danielle Goralnik. With a background in event and interior design, in addition to energy healing, Danielle's approach is to tell a story and convey emotions through her spaces and designs. She experiments with structure and form, playing with textures while blending colors in unique compositions that elicit the senses.

Danielle was led to Reiki as a way to heal from past personal traumas and believes it saved her life. It opened her heart, perspective, and approach to the way she now lives her life. It has created a sense of balance and calm within herself, even when things are chaotic or confusing externally. 

After receiving Reiki for over a year, her practitioner encouraged her to become a healer. She was influenced by her Reiki teacher, Juliana McCarthy of Ethereal Culture, and incorporates astrology into her energy work. Danielle continued her study of spiritual practice and became a Reiki Master under the guidance of Reiki Master Jean Bromage of Reiki Essence Healing Arts. She loves the beautiful connecting moments that occur during healing sessions, and they have inspired her to deepen her practice.

Danielle received her BA in theatrical design in 2007 and went on to receive her Masters in Interior Architecture from New England School of Art and Design in 2012. She moved to NYC in 2013, where she has designed events for clients such as, Condé Nast, Swarovski, Veuve Clicquot, and General Mills. 

Her design process always begins with the conceptual phase. She articulates the storyline by developing mood boards that express the feelings her clients wish to convey. From there, she brings their vision to life with renderings, physical elements, and lighting.
